Ice Cream, Balloons, and Fun!

This past weekend, the L’Arche St. Louis community held its annual Ice Cream Social. This has been a tradition since the very early days more than 10 years ago! Around 175 new and familiar faces ventured out into the August heat this year to enjoy brownie sundaes and root beer floats. Guests also enjoyed face painting, balloon animals, and corn hole.

L’Arche St. Louis community members shared about our community at the info table - an attractive destination for folks since it was in the air conditioning! We were especially happy to welcome many new friends with and without disabilities from other agencies in the area as well as families looking to expand their community.
